5 things you must do in matric exam hall
1.Breath:
This is an unique yet most effective way to refresh your mind just before the exam. After you complete entering roll number and other mandatory fields in answer sheet take a minute to breath. Close your eyes and take deep breaths for one long minute. This will help your brain gain adequate amount of oxygen. This simple one minute exercise will calm down your mind and you are now ready to face the question paper.
2.Don't read entire question paper:
Do not read the entire question paper at once. DO NOT DO THIS if you don’t want to mess up with your mood even before start writing the answers. One or two questions may be there in the question paper which you are not prepared for. In situations like this your mind will keep thinking about those question during the entire 3 hours of exam. It may affect your performance on the questions that you’ve actually prepared for. So, do not read the entire question paper at once in the beginning.
3.Keep a Bottle of water:
Sipping water keeps your body and mind hydrated. It’s better to keep a bottle of water by your side during exam. But make sure that you don’t waste time drinking water and also not get your answer sheet and other document/papers wet.
4.Start with short questions:
Always start with the questions to which you need to reply in one or a few words. These questions may fetch you full marks even with a concise yet direct answer. Similarly target the areas of any subject that may get you full marks for quick but correct answers. For example, in general science always start with chemistry and physics then go for biology as biology questions often need a little more subjective answers than of the other two areas of science.
5.Do not panic:
This is the first major exam of your life. It also has very high social importance. So, it’s quite normal to be a little excited or even to be a little tensed too. But do not let yourself to be panicked at any cost. There may be situations that will go against your favour, but remember it’s not only an exam to test your skills on couple of subjects it’s also about identifying your capabilities to handle odd situations.
Follow the above methods to cool down your mind during exam and just perform well. All the Best :)
